    Make your first quilt top in this 5 session class.

    In this four-session class you will learn the basics of quilting from cutting, using a ruler, sewing a 1⁄4” seam, pressing, adding borders, and then adding binding to your quilt after it is quilted. 

    Class times 10am-2pm April 27, May 4 & 18, June 1 & 8.   

    We will be working through lunchtime, bring a sandwich or we may order out.

    Tools Needed:

    Assorted fabric (specifications will be emailed to you two weeks prior to class start)

    Thread

    Sewing Machine - basic knowledge of sewing machine use

    Ruler – 6x24

    Rotary Cutter – 45mm

    Basic sewing supplies (Pins, Scissors or Thread Snips, Seam Ripper, Quilter's tape measure)

    Quilting needles for machine - size 90/14

    Optional - Empty lint roller
