This eye-catchingJade Garden king-sized quilt (or generously-sized queen quilt) is designed as part of a 9-month Block of the month program.   It has been created using a custom-colored collection of Wilmington Batiks in rich shades of green, varied purples(light to dark), and ivories that are almost white with subtle grayish motifs - all the colors of a beautiful bouquet.  The quilt is 96″ square with a fascinating interplay of blocks and colors.  It appears as if the  medallion-like center is set on-point, but SURPIRISE! - it is made up entirely of  9″ blocks that are set in a regular horizontal layout . The "secret" is in the color placement.  Combined with neatly-pieced borders framig it, this quilt is a beautiful centerpiece for any bedroom.
