Would you like to learn to quilt?  In this beginner class, you will learn the following:
Measuring and cutting fabric
Piecing together the quilt top
Adding borders to your quilt top
Binding and finishing.
 
Class dates: Jan 8,15,22,29
                           Feb 5,12 and 26
Class time: 6:30pm to 8:30/9:00pm
Class Materials List
Scrap Happy Postcard Pattern - available at the store
Fabric per pattern for - 12 fat quarters(5 light and 7 dark) and 1 3/4 yards of solid fabric for borders and binding(can be purchased later)
4 yards backing fabric (can be purchased later)
Twin size batting
Thread to match fabric
Sewing machine with extra needles (size 90/14) and bobbins
Rotary cutter, cutting mat and 6 1/2" x 24" ruler
Notions-scissors, straight pins, seam ripper
